Perth County Commodities meet to discuss OASC and BRMP

Perth County Federation of Agriculture, Perth Pork Producers, Perth Beef Farmers, Perth Grain Farmers and Sheep Producers met to be updated on the progress of the Ontario Agricultural Sustainability Coalition (OASC) and their lobby for a Business Risk Management Program (BRMP).
These commodities and groups have come together to show support to the provincial organizations that are working together. The local grassroots organizations are fully behind the OASC committee and their lobby.
At the local level we plan on meeting with our members of parliament to push for a Business Risk Management Program for non-supply managed commodities. We are also planning to bring information to the local producers regarding this lobby.
