Don McCabe, President
Don McCabe, a Lambton County farmer, was acclaimed as President of the Ontario Federation of Agriculture (OFA) for his second one-year term at the 2015 Annual General Meeting. McCabe was first elected as President at the 2014 AGM and Convention. He previously served as Vice President of OFA from 2008-2014. A no-till corn, soybean and wheat farmer from Inwood, ON, McCabe is the elected representative from Zone 6 representing farmers in the counties of Lambton and Middlesex on the OFA Board of Directors.
With a doctorate-level education in soil genesis and classification from the University of Guelph, and a chemistry degree from the University of Western Ontario, McCabe has become a leading advocate for environmental farm stewardship in the areas of air, water, biodiversity and climate change.
McCabe sits on the Thames Sydenham and Area Source Water Protection Committee. He is also a Vice Chair of the Bio-Industrial Innovation Centre and is proud to serve as Fire Chief to the Inwood Fire Department.

Attending meetings in Toronto in the morning. In afternoon, Don has accepted an invitation from the Speaker of the House of Commons to attend a reception with the Canadian Association of Forest Owners (Ottawa).

Attending the CropLife Spring Canada Dialogue Days in the morning before attending a meeting with the Standing Committee on Bill 100 Trails Act.
Thursday, May 5
Attending the second day of CropLife Spring Canada Dialogue Days.
Friday, May 6
Attending a funding announcement from Minister Leal in Peterborough with the Ontario Trillium Foundation, Peterborough Federation of Agriculture and OFA.
